LEOCH recently hosted a specialized battery technology workshop at its U.S. headquarters in Dallas, bringing together core members from its North American sales, technical, and supply chain teams. Led by Dr. Dong Li, Chairman of LEOCH, the session focused on strengthening regional technical capabilities and aligning innovation with evolving market demands. Matthew Raiford, Technical Director of the Consortium for Battery Innovation (CBI), was invited as a guest speaker to share insights and support the knowledge exchange.
With extensive experience in advanced lead battery R&D and energy storage system applications, Matthew Raiford delivered an in-depth session covering innovations in lead battery materials, system integration for energy storage and their role in renewable energy solutions. Through a combination of theoretical insights and real-world case studies, Raiford explored how to maximize performance and cost-effectiveness in lead battery energy storage solutions.
He also shared recent advancements in material science and configuration strategies that enhance energy efficiency, reliability, and scalability. His presentation provided the LEOCH team with a strong foundation for a deeper understanding of how these technologies can be applied in real-world energy storage scenarios.
Participants praised the workshop for its precision and relevance. By combining a global perspective with regional priorities, the session sharpened the team's ability to evaluate innovations, respond to customer requirements, and collaborate across departments more effectively. It marked a vital step in strengthening LEOCH's technical backbone and preparing the team for future growth in energy storage and beyond.
This workshop is part of LEOCH's broader efforts to build a strong technical foundation for global service excellence. As a proud member of CBI, LEOCH continues to leverage the consortium's global R&D network and thought leadership to drive innovation across regions. Looking ahead, LEOCH will continue its "Global Expertise + Internal Innovation" strategy—bringing in top international minds while nurturing in-house talent. This dual-track approach aims to accelerate cross-disciplinary knowledge integration and keep the company at the forefront of the next-generation battery industry.
