On October 15, Anhui Leoch was honored at the Zero-Carbon Mission International Climate Summit 2024 in Beijing. This summit focused on effective actions for low-carbon transitions and climate change mitigation.

In the afternoon, Anhui Leoch Power Supply Corp. was awarded by WWF for its excellence in setting science-based carbon reduction targets (SBTi) in 2024. Wu Qun, Manager of Supply Chain Quality Management at Leoch International, attended the ceremony on behalf of the company.

Receiving this prestigious recognition underscores Leoch's commitment to excellence in quality, safety, and environmental standards.

The honor reflects Leoch's ongoing efforts to deliver top-tier products and services while embracing innovation and sustainable practices to meet the evolving needs of its customers.

The summit was co-hosted by WWF Beijing, Phoenix TV, and RMI. Under the theme “Climate Ambition & Global Action,” the summit highlighted the vision for raising global climate ambitions and driving collective action.

As early as July 2023, LEOCH BATTERY pledged its commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

Partnering with China Certification & Inspection Group (CTI), a partner of CDP for Climate Change Consulting and Science-Based Targets, LEOCH BATTERY developed science-based carbon reduction goals and submitted them for SBTi verification.

Using 2022 as the baseline year, Leoch aims to achieve greenhouse gas reductions aligned with the 1.5°C global warming pathway by 2030, in support of the Paris Agreement's objective to limit warming to well below 2°C and strive for 1.5°C.

At the recent 2024 Global Battery Innovation Conference, Dr. Dong Li, Founder of Leoch, delivered a powerful presentation on our commitment to sustainability—a highlight that reflects our focus on a greener future.

This achievement signifies Leoch’s alignment with global low-carbon initiatives and its commitment to combating climate change, promoting sustainable economic growth worldwide.
